Rubus eubatus - Hardy perennial thornless blackberry. A good productive plant. Full sun to part shade. Delicious old fashioned berries, used in pies, crumbles and jams. White flowers in the spring followed by fruits which are harvested throughout the summer, ripe when it turns black. Deciduous plant. Frost hardy. Grows in most well drained soils. Best to prune when the plant is dormant in the autumn and winter. Fruits and leaves eaten by most farm animals, an excellent medicinal and tonic plant for them.
