Arum palestinum - A beautiful herbaceous perennial Arum, native to the Mediterranean and Middle East. It is widely used in its native area. Summer dormant and produces leaves in late autumn/early winter, followed by purple/ black flowers. Easily grown in full to part shade in most well drained moist soils. Frost hardy. NB- through my research I have found many and varied uses for Ariods. But they are to be used only by professionals and people that know how to prepare them
