Vigna marina - Native to coastal regions in NSW and QLD. A wild harvested perennial for use as both food and a medicine. Frost sensitive, but tolerant of salty conditions. Yellow Beach Bean also fixes atmospheric nitrogen in the soil. The seeds, leaves and roots can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable. Also a good ground cover plant for stabilising erosion areas. Very fast growing.
