Micromeria thymifolia - As the name suggests, Balkan Mint is native to the Balkan region of Europe and Hungary. It has a long history of wild harvesting for use as and edible and medicinal herb. Dark green fragrant leaves are also used to make herbal teas. The plant is covered in small white flowers in the summer.
