Geum canadense  - A very pretty perennial herb. Pretty white flowers held over the foliage in the summer. A great plant for a shady spot. Boiled roots are said to be used as a chocolate substitute. Roots and leaves used medicinally by Native Americans, also used by them to make a love potion.
