Asphodeline lutea - A wild harvested perennial vegetable throughout parts of Europe and the Mediterranean region, being especially favoured in Greece. The roots, leaves and flowers are all edible and harvested for use in various traditional dishes. Yellow Asphodel is also an attractive looking plant, with lots of bright yellow flowers held above foliage in the summer.
