Asparagus officinalis ‘fat Bastard’ - A high yielding Asparagus variety that produces fatter spears than other asparagus varieties. Fat Bastard is also a high yielding plant. I feed mine with well rotted animal manure during the growing season. Perennial and dormant in winter.
