Acinos alpinus - A lovely and useful fragrant perennial ground cover plant. Alpine Rock Thyme has both traditional culinary and medicinal uses in its native area, the mountains of southern Europe. Leaves are brewed to make a tea and also used to flavour food. The plant is covered with pollinator attracting pink purple flowers in spring and summer. Full sun to part shade in well draining soil.
