Silene undulata (aka Silene capensis) - A South African native herb. The roots are used traditionally to induce lucid and vivid dreams by the Xhosa people. The roots, flowers and foliage are also used medicinally. Also an attractive plant in the herb garden, especially when flowering, as flowers are held well above foliage on long stalks. Needs regular watering.
