Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Rosea’ - Perennial culinary and medicinal herb. Producing pretty pink flowers as opposed to the common blue. Full sun. The same aromatic needle like foliage as the common rosemary. A good hedging plant, that also grows well in coastal gardens. An excellent plant for the cottage garden. Also grows well in pots. For use in the kitchen use as you would common rosemary. Use fresh or dried, with sprigs cut in the morning before the plant has flowered having the best culinary flavour. Grows well in most well drained soils. My goats and sheep love eating this plant, it is a great tonic and medicinal plant for them.
